IPDPS 2015 Commercial-Industry Participation

The 29th IEEE International Parallel and Distributed Processing Symposium will be held May 25-29, 2015 in Hyderabad, India at the Hyderabad International Conference Centre.  This page is a special invitation to companies and organizations in India to participate in IPDPS 2015 and share the benefits of associating with our international community of top researchers and practitioners in fields related to parallel processing and distributed computing. Typically the 600+ registrants come from 35+ countries (where they work-study). One-quarter of attendees are students, mostly PhD candidates in computer science. Of the non-student attendees, about 20% are from corporations and national labs in the US, and most of the French attendees represent INRIA. Thus 60% of attendees are faculty-researchers from universities in 35+ countries.

This premier IEEE Computer Society conference is being held in India for the first time and is certain to attract participation from Indian academic institutions and government research labs as well as other Indian companies. The commercial sponsorship as a Silver, Gold or Platinum Industry Partner will help to underwrite attendance of students and faculty from Indian institutions. As an IPDPS 2015 Industry Partner, your organization will have three full days to interact with the conference attendees, helping to establish business contacts and meet and recruit top graduates students, as well as share the benefits of associating with our international community.

• Large Booth (6m x 2m x 2.5m à 20 feet wide x 6.5 feet deep  x 8 feet high)
• Basic Booth Furniture (facial, 1 table, 2 chairs, 1 light and 1 power strip)
• Any additional costs for signage, power, Internet, pipe and drape, and drayage are the responsibility of the exhibitor and may be arranged with the industry co-chairs.

• IPDPS is an annual gathering of top researchers and practitioners in fields related to parallel processing and distributed computing. The conference is organized to allow three full days of “walk-up-and-talk” opportunities for exhibitors and two evenings devoted to commercial presentations including tutorials.
• IPDPS is a fully international community, drawing mixed participation from Europe, the Americas, and Asia that reflects many examples of joint research.
• Over 400+ papers are presented by IPDPS authors representing a broad spectrum of topics from academia and industry as well as high level research labs.
• IPDPS attracts over 600 attendees who participate in five days of workshops and symposium technical sessions. In addition, proceedings reach at least triple that number by involving authors who are unable to attend as well as others who access the proceedings via the IEEE Digital Library. This multiplier effect from your company's participation at IPDPS provides a much broader audience than many academically oriented, more parochial conferences.
• IPDPS provides a forum for top PhD students who will expect to work in environments that encourage utilization of all the latest technology and tools offered by industry, and the IPDPS student program facilitates student interaction with industry and senior researchers.

Participants may propose additional levels of support that afford their company or organization more coverage and interaction with IPDPS attendees, including an enhanced exhibit display, conducting a tutorial or underwriting a student participation event. All representatives from industry attending as an Industry Partner will be invited to present and participate in any student research forum mentoring sessions that may be organized during the week.
