TWENTY-THREE WORKSHOPS SCHEDULED FOR IPDPS 2016 IN CHICAGO
Below is the list of workshops planned for 2016 in Chicago. For the most up to date information on each workshop, follow the link from this page. Note that all workshops have their own Web sites and will publish their full program on their Website.
IPDPS ROUNDTABLE WORKSHOPS – NEW IN 2016!
These condensed workshops, no more than ninety minutes, will be organized and animated by a few people and will be held on Tuesday and Thursday. The purpose is to provide a “roundtable” setting which promotes interaction and discussion focused on an emerging area of interest to IPDPS attendees, especially topics that complement and “round out” the areas covered by the regular workshops. For more information and details about Roundtable workshops, contact the Workshops Chair and include “IPDPS 2016 Roundtable” in the subject of your email.
See below for details on the IPDPS 2016 Roundtable Workshop to be held Tuesday at Noon.
ABOUT IPDPS WORKSHOPS
IPDPS workshops, held on the first and last day of the conference, are a major part of the IPDPS week-long family of events. The IPDPS 2015 workshops in Chicago will be held on Monday, May 23rd and Friday, May 27th. These workshops provide the IPDPS community an opportunity to explore special topics, and the goal of the workshops is to present work that is more preliminary and cutting-edge or that has more practical content than the more mature research presented in the main symposium. The workshops also broaden the content of the week's presentations by extending the topics of interest beyond those of the main symposium.
The conference proceedings of IPDPS 20156 will be published in two volumes with two separate ISBN's: one for the regular conference technical program (IPDPS) and one for the workshops (IPDPSW). The publication will be available online to all registered attendees one week prior and throughout the week of the conference. The Conference Publishing Services (CPS) of the IEEE Computer Society will produce the IPDPS 2016 proceedings. Post conference, the two volumes of proceedings will be submitted for inclusion to the IEEE Xplore Digital Library.
At least one author of each paper must be registered for the symposium by March 27, 2016 in order for the paper to be published in the proceedings. Presentation of an accepted paper at the conference is a requirement of publication. Any paper that is not presented at the conference will not be included in IEEE Xplore.
