IPDPS 2024 Author Resources

May 9 Update

Congratulations to all IPDPS 2024 authors. Now that your paper has been submitted to the proceedings, the next step is to present your paper at the conference. To help prepare, see the following:

Authors of Conference Papers

As the Advance Program schedule shows, each paper will have a 20-minute presentation slot (15 minute in-person talk + 5 minutes Q&A), and papers are to be presented in two parallel sessions. We are providing a few guidelines to enhance the quality and effectiveness of the presentation. You are welcome to follow them, but not required.

Authors of Main Conference Posters

The 24 conference posters listed here in the Advance Program will be available for viewing during the three days of the main conference -Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Authors of IPDPS Workshops Papers

The organizers of the workshop where your paper is to be presented will provide guidelines for your presentation. From the link in the Advance Program here, you may view the program for your workshop.

Notice to all IPDPS 2024 Authors:
At least one author of each paper must be registered for the symposium in order for the paper to be published in the proceedings. Presentation of an accepted paper at the conference is a requirement of publication. Any paper that is not presented at the conference will not be included in IEEE Xplore.

The conference proceedings of IPDPS 2024 will be published in two volumes with two separate ISBN's: one for the regular conference technical program (IPDPS) and one for the workshops and conference posters (IPDPSW). The publication will be available online to all registered attendees one week prior and throughout the week of the conference. The Conference Publishing Services (CPS) of the IEEE Computer Society will produce the IPDPS 2024 proceedings. Post conference, the two volumes of proceedings will be submitted to IEEE for inclusion in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library. This requires that all papers submitted for publication meet a minimum standard for both print and electronic publishing.

THE CPS AUTHOR SUBMISSION PORTALS ARE CLOSED

To help authors meet that standard, this IPDPS Web page will take you to the CPS Author Final Paper Preparation and Submission Instructions (the author kit). See below.

DO NOT GO TO THE SUBMISSION PLATFORM FOR YOUR PAPER (i.e., Linklings) TO SUBMIT FINAL CAMERA READY PAPER.

Before going to CPS Author Kit page, please carefully note the following:

REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS FOR IPDPS ALL 2024 AUTHORS

At least one author of each paper must be registered for the symposium by March 31st for the paper to be published in the proceedings. It must be a full registration unless the sole author of the paper is a student. One registration is valid for one (1) paper. Authors presenting multiple papers may pay an "Additional Paper Fee" for each extra paper at the time they register.

Extra Page Fee:

  • Main conference authors of regular papers (maximum length 11 pages) may purchase an additional page at US$200 for a total of twelve (12).
  • Workshop authors of regular papers (10 or 8 pages, as designated by the individual workshop) may purchase up to two (2) additional pages in the proceedings at US$200 per page at the time they register. Authors submitting “short” (less than 8 pages) papers are not eligible to purchase additional pages.

If you elect to add an additional page, you may purchase online (as part of IPDPS Registration) at a cost of $200. Please note that this charge is in addition to the author registration for the paper and may be paid at the time you register.
