[IPDPS] IPDPS call for volunteers announcement

		IPDPS — Call for Volunteers
The IPDPS Steering Committee is considering key volunteers to organize IPDPS 2023 to be held in St. Petersburg, Fl, USA in May 2023. 

The steering committee will discuss and finalize key volunteers including general chair(s) and program chair(s) and vice chairs for the meeting. The general chair's role is to oversee the overall planning and execution of the conference, virtual/physical meeting space, and, with consultation of the steering committee, identify and assign key volunteer positions. The program chair's role is to manage the main conference technical organization and technical program. 

The proposed volunteers must have had previous IPDPS experience (for example, participant in the meeting, volunteer at the meeting including serving on the program committee, etc.). Nominations for any of these positions must be submitted in electronic form to steeringcom at ipdps.org <mailto:steeringcom at ipdps.org>. The nominations should be brief (page or less) and should include a brief bio of the nominee and prior history of participation at IPDPS and experience in organizing major conferences. Self nominations are welcome. The timeline is as follows:

·      30 March: Nominations due

·      April-May: Clarification and review of the nominations by the steering committee

·      At IPDPS in May: CFP for 2023 announced

The steering committee will also consider nominations for future events beyond 2023.
