Welcome to IPDPS 2020:

Despite many of the activities being conducted in a virtual environment this
year, the heart and soul of the conference is as vibrant as ever. The same level
of rigor and the usual high standards have been used to create the technical
content of the main conference and the 21 workshops. The work submitted and
accepted by the conference and workshops is recorded in over 250 papers in the
proceedings publication, which includes slide presentations from authors of the
papers.

We recognize that networking within the community is a highlight of IPDPS. To
partially provide some opportunities for this experience, IPDPS 2020 will
feature three live plenary sessions on the days of the main conference, at a
time that best accommodates attendees around the world. These sessions will
showcase some of the most notable work of the conference, allow community
interaction, and help us learn from our shared experiences during these
extraordinary times. Likewise, the workshops will present a breadth of virtual
interactions, some with their own keynotes and live engagement.
